"Backstage" charts the relationship between Studio Eduardo Aires and one of the most dynamic cultural institutions in the city of Porto, its municipal theatre – Teatro Municipal do Porto (TMP) between 2014 and 2021.

Drawing on an archive of over 35,000 – analogue and digital files – the book provides a comprehensive visual overview, showcasing not only the publicised works, but also the numerous pilot projects, rehearsals, advances, and setbacks that shaped this creative process.

At the invitation of Studio Eduardo Aires, I am very proud to share this project, to which I contributed over the course of a year. I am grateful for the trust and opportunity to participate in such a significant project.
