"Backstage" charts the relationship between Studio Eduardo Aires and one of the most dynamic cultural institutions in the city of Porto, its municipal theatre – Teatro Municipal do Porto (TMP) between 2014 and 2021.
Drawing on an archive of over 35,000 – analogue and digital files – the book provides a comprehensive visual overview, showcasing not only the publicised works, but also the numerous pilot projects, rehearsals, advances, and setbacks that shaped this creative process.At the invitation of Studio Eduardo Aires, I am very proud to share this project, to which I contributed over the course of a year. I am grateful for the trust and opportunity to participate in such a significant project.
